TORCH mLAMP is a new way to rapidly and accurately test for several pathogens simultaneously, with minimal cost, equipment and expertise.

Optimized TORCH™ mLAMP Components
Custom TORCH™ mLAMP Assay Development

At Varizymes, we engineer our TORCH mLAMP components for superior, industry-leading performance. We then partner with you to build a customized TORCH mLAMP point-of-care diagnostic test specific to your needs.

neoBolt™ Bst DNA Polymerase

Varizymes' neoBolt Bst DNA Polymerase has been engineered for high strand-displacement activity and high reverse transcriptase activity. Get fast test results with a single enzyme—no additional reverse transcriptase required. Amplify DNA and RNA targets simultaneously.

Thunder™ Reverse Transcriptase

Supercharge your mLAMP assay by adding additional reverse transcriptase activity. By supplementing neoBolt Bst DNA Polymerase with additional stand-alone Thunder Reverse Transcriptase, you will achieve even faster assay results.

RNase Inhibitor

Varizymes' RNase Inhibitor is a 50 kDa protein that specifically inhibits RNases A, B, and C by binding noncovalently in a 1:1 ratio at high affinity. Adding RNase Inhibitor to your mLAMP assay will reduce target degradation and improve sensitivity.

Cod Uracil-DNA Glycosylase

Carry-over contamination can lead to inaccurate or false positive results, and must be eliminated. Varizymes' Cod Uracil-DNA Glycosylase is a recombinant, thermolabile enzyme that removes uracil from DNA. It is ideal for preventing carry-over contamination during RNA or DNA mLAMP assays that substitute dUTP for dTTP.

VariSafe™ RNA Controls

Varizymes offers a selection of VariSafe RNAs—nuclease-resistant, single-stranded RNAs, suitable as process controls for RNA extraction from various sample matrices. These specially-engineered, non-infectious, MS2 phage-like particles protect their contents from degradation by nucleases and can package sequences of up to 1.5 kb from viruses such as SARS-CoV-2, Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus, and Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
